Swap it with: Almond milk, coconut milk, or lentils.


2. Raw Cruciferous Vegetables

Cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, kale—they’re all superfoods, right? Yes, but not if you have hypothyroidism. In their raw form, these veggies contain goitrogens, which may slow down your thyroid.

Better option: Steam or lightly cook them to deactivate the goitrogens.


3. Gluten
